italy is getting to me

so my portfolio is finally finished with,
and now i'm finally going to be able to get paying jobs
hopefully this will help with the rent

finals is starting to come into full swing
i can't keep my mind off of christmas break though!
now i just have to sit down and study
yuck yuck yuck

another day in the life

Life still has been good.
I've been pretty busy though
a lot of homework, and not enough time to travel
my friend from home is studying abroad in Denmark,
he and his girlfriend at visit florence for two days
and are coming tomorrow, i'll get to show them around,

which will be hopefully a lot of fun.
even better...
maybe if im lucky i can stay in europe for christmas vacation

well hello, stranger

Yes, i know it has been a while since i wrote on this blog..
just so much has been going on!
i have to dust off my key board.

One main reason for not updating, is that the internet keeps breaking
but that's another story..

ANYWAY!!
So since i have been gone, i've flown to london
Also i've made wonderful friends in milan, i've finished tons of projects,
and my roommate and i have survived the cold with out the heat on
(because of the italian law)
also also also!!!

a modeling agency wants me to sign with them,
but im not sure yet..

they want to help build my portfolio,
just today i had a photo shoot for a small clothing line-
It was tons of fun!
if i find the pictures i'll post them online!

maybe this will help me get some extra much needed cash, huhuhuh
but of course school comes first, and the agency knows my class schedule
so hopefully it wont clash at all

back from fashion week

It was such an experience!
milan was a lot like new york city,
just smaller cars? hahaha
we went to a lot of fashion shows,
me and a few other friends got to sneak into a missoni fashion show
and another day we even pretended to be invited to a prada party
i got a prada clutch as a party favor,
and got to mingle with all of the hoighty toighties of around the world
we also went to different factories to see how fabrics were printed and created
and sold and everything like that,
we also went to a museum that kept fabric from egyptian fabric to the 1800s
me and my friends even got tickets to la scala to see an opera
fit took us to a fashion trade show
and we went to como, where george clooney owns a house

everything was so beautiful
unfortunately i didn't remember to bring my memory card for my camera
but on the bright side, it freed up my hands
so that i could focus more on the scenery
i'll steal some pictures from my friends to show you

i will have to add more later when they are available

and milan too, actually!
well, the 6 day school trip to milan is coming up!
we will be leaving the 22nd i belive. and im very excited!
just in time for fashion week, hopefully fit hooked us up with some shows..
later in the year, the school planned a trip to paris as well
cant wait for that one, ive always have wanted to go

and another thing! my friends, rachel and simone have found a very
inexpensive plane ticket (on ryan air) to go to london,
so we booked it!
we are spending the weekend in london, just because

how insane is this?
i can honestly run around europe for dirt cheep,
what a way to live...
i will have to upload pictures of the wine tasting tour later
so far so good,

stettle down, bud

im happy to say that abby and i are now
pretty much settled into our new appartment
hmm.. i wouldn't say new,
its a very old apartment actually
but gorgeous
we since there is a second room we will
probably be looking for another roommate

OH! the mosquitoes here are really awful!
at first i wasn't bitten that much,
but starting about two nights ago.. they haven't stopped biting!
i put itch cream on it, and it still keeps itching
i tried tooth paste and that works pretty well..

they dont really bite me during the day
apparently they really just come out at night

we'll have to get something to repel these nasty creatures


abby and i went to the farmer's market today,
its right by our appartment.

the food here is really incredible.

tonight two other girls from fit are having a dinner party
(they live in the same apartment)
they will be making the dinner, another girl is getting dessert
and abby and i got a bottle of wine

im very excited!!

oh ps. .the guys here do call at every one
its really funny to hear their pick up lines in broken english

i always get the "ciao sweet, here is my heart"
but abby gets yelled at "DARK CHOCOLATE!!" or "BROWN SUGAR!!"

its hysterical!

i can't wait for my family to come and visit!
its very much a wonderful experience!
